Nail Art: Gradiant Nails

I found this cute gradient (or gradiant as the french would say) nail art tutorial here and thought I would give it a try. It turned out pretty well! I wanted to let go of my dark polishes and paint some nice pastel colours for spring. Can't wait to break out the coral, but baby steps first.

Tip: if you're planning on masking areas of your nails with tape, REMEMBER to let your base colour dry COMPLETELY. I made the mistake of rushing it and had to redo parts of the white on my right hand.

What I used:
  • Deborah Lippmann Turn Back the Time base coat
  • White nail polish - InstaDry Sally Hansen
  • Mint Green, Purple nail polish - China Glaze
  • Rockin Pink - L'oreal

    1. Thanks! Tape is the key, but make sure you peel it off before the nail polish dries or you'll get a jagged line
